Life Is Good with Flo-Dar at Central Davis Sewer District

cdsd wwtpFor over 20 years, the Central Davis Sewer District has monitored their wastewater flows utilizing Marsh-McBirney flow meters. With an original capacity of 2.0 MGD back in 1961, the peak flow capacity today at the District is 22 MGD. This award winning publicly owned collection system includes 220 miles of pipeline and a treatment plant that serves the Farmington, Fruit Heights and Kaysville areas in Utah. The area is located in northern Utah, halfway between Salt Lake City and Ogden. Numerous awards from the Water Environment Association of Utah, Clean Water Act awards, and a three-time winner of the outstanding Operations and Maintenance Excellence Award by EPA Region 8 are accolades that set the Central Davis Sewer District apart. Also very noteworthy is the District’s reuse of all wastewater residuals generated in their treatment process.
